24th July 2006-Xmas song written and Recorded
The Blind Poets Xams song has been written and just recently recorded by the band. The Song "Don't Come Back for Xmas (Without Love) is a piano-based Ballad. It will appear on the compliation CD sponsored by BBC Radio Suffolk.
25th June 2006- POET PLAYS IN CHANTRY PARK
Lead Singer Jim Rowbotham played short set at Ipswich's Chantry Park with his good friends David Baahlam and Hannah Richardson. Thanks to everyone who came and supported us that afternoon. One of the songs in the set was the Blind Poets Song "Blood from a Stone", from their second Album.
20th June 2006 - POETS START RECORDING
The Blind Poets have started pre-production of their as yet un-named 4th Studio Album, with writing have being carried out earlier this year.
29th May 2006 - POETS ASKED TO CONTRIBUTE TO XMAS ALBUM
The Blind Poets are confirmed to be one of the bands who will contribute a Xmas flavoured track to the forthcoming Xmas album through Radio Suffolk and The Evening star. Watch this pages for more info relating to this story

POETS VISIT RADIO NORFOLK!!
Yesterday, despite the bitterly cold weather, Jim and Jon went to the Forum in Norwich to appear on Radio Norfolk's Maggie's brew. They talked about the latest CD, "Into Tomorrow" and played a track off it, "Cross to Bear".
Jon then went on to sing a live version of the Singing Postman's "North Walsham Line", and talked about his up-coming solo album.

POETS WORK ON NEW MATERIAL!!!
The Blind Poets are currently writing some new material, some of which takes them in a slightly heavier direction. There is a good chance some of the material might be premiered at some of their next gigs.
Working titles include "Angel Eyes" and "No-win Situation". More on this and much more in the forthcoming weeks on these pages.
