"INTO TOMORROW"-The new CD from the Blind Poets out now on Rectory Records.

This is the new Album that was released in January 2006. Recorded at Lead Singer Jim Rowbotham's Studio in Little Glemham over 18 months, this is the band's first release on their own Record Label-Rectory Records.

The Album features 12 self-written compositions and sees a maturing of the Instrumental and Vocal sound to the Band. Opening with Radio single "Envy", it features some acoustic based material, but with a heavier edge than previous releases, particularly the blues- influenced "Devil on my Shoulder".

To Turn a Blind Eye-Backwater records. olkcd005 Released 2001

The first Album by the Blind Poets was a interesting debut. With just two members in the band at that stage Jim and Gary had to play just about everything, (apart from Drums). It was a very ladiback affair with stripped down arrangements and none of the Harmonies that became their trademark (according to some reviewers!!). It got some good notices in the National Pres, particularly Folk Roots.

Key tracks include "Ten Miles Behind", and "Sake of Sanity" (Still in the live set to this day), and the wistful "Confessions of a Broken Man."
